Opening
The exhibition was opened with an official ceremony on September 25 and the bar was cute from the vice minister of MEE Anna Ianeva and Mrs. Valeria Jekova, Chairman of the Board of BAATPE. Welcome speech to the appreciation of responsibility and commitment to the Association's long collaboration with GTZ expressed Mr. Henry Tvesten, head of the German Office of Technologic Partnership in Bulgaria. The exhibition welcomes and Mr. Ivan Ivanov, director of the BULGARREKLAMA Agency, co-organizer of BGate 2008.
Congratulations about the opening of the exhibition were sent from the representatives of CEIBG.
BGate 2008 organized also representative fashion shows with the latest collections of famous Bulgarian companies and current fashion trends for 2009. A special catwalk followed by a cocktail presented fashion brands as "MARKAM", "VIEMA", "ETERE", "NIA & Dorado", "Lara Vill", "BORYANA", "SVA Sevani". The defile was closed by a collective representation of young designers from New Bulgarian University in Sofia. Organizers of the whole event were BAATPE, along with creative studio "T&Y" and fashion agency "Next ONE".
The first day of the exhibition ended by "BGate Fashion Party", jointly organized by BAATPE and club "ESCAPE"- Sofia only for exhibitors and guests of Fair.
